This one-of-a-kind ceramic began its form on the coastal rocks of southern Ireland and has been refined by hand in my studio as a sensory object for enhancing uplifting rituals that invite you into the present moment.
Featuring a glazed surface on textured foraged clay, with grey and blush tone variations and a fine crazing pattern created by the elemental firing process. The raw, unglazed base is smoky black from the post-firing reduction. This piece has a dual function.

How to use:
Place your ceramic object on a hard surface and empty the tin of black sand into the bowl. Light the tip of your smudge, then gently blow out the flame. Use the uplifting and purifying smoke as much as needed within your space, then place it on your ceramic object to rest. The incense stick can be placed in the hole at the top of the object or the Palo Santo stick can be placed in the ridge holder of the object.
